July 18, 9:00am - 2:30pm Acacia Reservation - Euclid Creek Reservation - Highland Picnic Area and Wildwood Park
Friends of Euclid Creek July Meeting = A Day in the Life of Euclid Creek - Instead of our normally scheduled first Tuesday of the month meeting, we are encouraging everyone to attend the Day in the Life event. Let’s take a snapshot of Euclid Creek starting in Acacia Reservation and ending at Wildwood Park, Euclid Creek Reservation, and see how the creek has changed since last year’s event.

Date: Wednesday, August 5, 2015 6:30-9
PM
This will be a combined “social” with Friends of Euclid Creek, Cuyahoga Soil & Water District, and Highland Heights Green Task Force.
We
will walk around the property, so please wear appropriate shoes.
Our guest speaker for the evening will be
Chad Clink, The Holden Arboretum’s Community Forester
Join Chad to
discuss urban and community forestry for Cleveland and the region. Trees across
the landscape are assets to the community providing significant benefits. What
can we do to coalesce grey and green infrastructure to obtain tree benefits
like storm water reduction? Caring for trees is a start, but assessing the
resource, engaging the community, and setting a standard for care are
imperative!
Please
invite a friend! There is no charge for this program.
