Friends of Euclid Creek July Meeting = A Day in the Life of Euclid Creek - Instead of our normally scheduled first Tuesday of the month meeting, we are encouraging everyone to attend the following watershed event in July: 

A Day in the Life of Euclid CreekSat., July 18, 9:00am - 2:30pm, at Acacia Reservation & Euclid Creek Reservation - Highland Picnic Area and Wildwood Park. 

Let’s take a snapshot of Euclid Creek starting in Acacia Reservation and ending at Wildwood Park, Euclid Creek Reservation, and see how the creek has changed since last year’s event.

Our Spring Celebration - April 24 - Don't Miss It!

Our Spring Celebration is being held at Dino’s, in the Acacia Metroparks Clubhouse on Friday, April 24, at 6:00 PM.  The event includes a reception, dinner, and talk by Chris Ronayne, Celebrity and Executive Director of University Circle, Inc. (UCI), entitled: “The Complete Neighborhood.”

Chris will share with us the elements of success at UCI and challenge us to be involved in creative planning for redevelopment of our urban communities.

Please join us for a stimulating talk, food and drink, and music by Jimmy Maguire, all the while enjoying a beautiful view at Acacia, the newest Metropark. 

The RSVP deadline has been extended to end of day on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.

Topic: Lake Erie Water Quality Update—Sarah Orlando, Ohio Sea Grant Extension Educator, will discuss research on non-point source pollution in Lake Erie and information on harmful algae blooms.

Wildwood & Euclid Beach Spring Cleanup

Sat., May 16, 10:00am-noon, Wildwood Park and Euclid Beach, Cleveland. 

Volunteers will help Euclid Creek Watershed Partners clean up the Wildwood Bioswale Garden and Wildwood Lacustrine Wetland, or you can participate in the Beach Cleanup with the Euclid Beach Adopt-a-Beach Team.  More details closer to the date.
